Perennial gift

My family and I are in the process of moving our stuff to a new house. When I started organizing items in our house, I noticed the vast selection of gifts I received throughout the years. With all that I found, I realized some things that may be regarded as the most common gifts, at least for me.

Three items top my list of most common gifts: calendars, books, and journals. Through the years, I have collected quite a number of promotional books and journals. Most of them were birthday gifts from my relatives. The promotional calendars on the other hand were mostly gifts from my friends and office mates.

Come to think of it, these items are both practical and economical. I was able to read most of the books and journals people gave me. As for the custom  promotional calendars, well, I got to see them for at least one year. On top of it all, customized calendars are very cheap. I heard that people only get their suppliers online and have their brand printed on them, and that the larger number they order, the price even drops lower.

If people engaged in business used these items, they will get a fabulous deal for their money. Imagine: with only a couple of bucks to spend, you can get these items to do long-term ads for you. That’s way better than those 30-second commercials on TV! They can design these items all they want, and make their customers see their brand name or logo for a very long time.
